In 2023, the number of china-Europe freight trains passing at Manzhouli port will exceed 5,000
China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. released on January 2 that in 2023,5,001 freight trains carried 540,000 teUS of goods, up 3% and 16% respectively compared with the same period last year. During the year, the number of China-Europe freight trains exceeded the 5,000 mark for the first time, and the volume of freight volume has increased for 10 consecutive years. Data show that in the first 11 months of 2023, the traffic volume of China-Europe freight trains at Manzhouli railway port increased by 4.1% and 17.2% respectively compared with the same period last year, and the traffic volume of freight trains and return trains ranked first in China.
It is understood that there are currently 21 China-Europe freight trains running through the Manzhouli Railway Port, reaching 13 countries including Russia, Poland, Germany and Belgium, and covering 60 cities including Harbin, Xi'an, Chengdu, Nanjing, Zhengzhou and Changsha.
