Abstract: A system includes a gain control circuit configured to dynamically select a gain value based on an estimated temperature for a speaker voice coil, a base gain value, and a threshold temperature value. The system also includes a power control circuit configured to determine a power limit value based on the gain value. The system also includes a filter circuit configured to adjust values of a digitized audio signal based on the power limit value. The system also includes a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) coupled to the filter circuit and configured to convert a digital output of the filter circuit to an analog audio signal.
Hmm… funny. To me those people are all idiots. If you connect a device that you don’t know to another device that you think you know you can still read the labels? These kind of people should not be given a technical function of any kind. Think before you do something and if you don’t know anything about something then don’t touch it. MOst of the times this happens to the same kind of people, we all know such an idiot I’m sure. Years ago I met someone who was capable of pushing a 23-pin sub-d connector into a 25-pin sub-D connector and then he was surprised it did not work? Idiot. It was on an amiga in the early 90’s so that was at that time an expensive mistake.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for intelligent fetching of storage device commands from submission queues are disclosed. On method is implemented in a data storage device including a controller and a memory. The method includes collecting submission queue command statistics; monitoring resource state of the data storage device. The method further includes using the submission queue command statistics and the resource state to select a submission queue from which a next data storage device command should be fetched. The method further includes fetching the command from the selected submission queue. The method further includes providing the command to command processing logic.

I didnât just suffer from procedural stupidity. I have engaged in some pretty major strategic stupidity. I wanted to design my own motorcycle engine. So when a neighbor machinist had an old obsolete Bostomatic mill, I jumped at the chance to buy it for $5,000. It was stupid to buy it when I could just send the parts out. I then decided to redesign the mill with a modern control system. Stupider still, I did a custom design with a PC motion-control card, instead of just paying to have a Fanuc control put on the machine. I ended up spending over $20,000, and eventually scrapped the machine since it didnât have a tool changer and was slow and obsolete.
