Abstract: Method and systems are disclosed for transporting simultaneous video and bus protocols over a single cable. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are systems including a main switch configured to operate in an enhanced mode where the main switch is configured to transfer data from a first data source and a second data source to a cable, operate in a default mode where the main switch is configured to transfer data from the second data source to the cable without transferring data from the first data source; a multipurpose switch configured to operate in a handshake mode where the multipurpose switch transports handshake data between the cable and a digital logic, operate in a data mode where the multipurpose switch transports bus data between the cable and the second data source; and the digital logic programed to enable modes of operation of the multipurpose switch and the main switch.
Abstract: In some examples, an electrostatic discharge (ESD) device comprises an insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) comprising a source terminal, an anode terminal, a gate terminal, and a body terminal; and at least one reverse bias device comprising a first terminal and a second terminal, wherein the first terminal couples to the source terminal and the second terminal couples to the body terminal.

The cable that connects the breakout box to the sound card looks like it appropriated a mini-HDMI connector. We suspect it’s not electrically the same (since it doesn’t carry video) but it’s not uncommon for companies to use existing parts as a shortcut to avoid creating something new. Since mini-HDMI pretty much went nowhere, it’s unlikely to ever get mixed up.
I also noticed that you don’t break out the board’s RX/TX, which is the coolest feature of the STLink V2.1 on those Nucleo boards. When you try to, you’ll find out that they’re off the 0.1″ spacing grid. (Who layed this board out?!?!?) This, IMO, doubles the need for an adapter board. Toss those lines on there in your next revision?

Abstract: A wearable neck device and a method of operating the wearable neck device are provided for outputting optical character recognition information to a user. The wearable neck device has at least one camera, and a memory storing optical character or image recognition processing data. A processor detects a document in the surrounding environment and adjusts the field of view of the at least one camera such that the detected document is within the adjusted field of view. The processor analyzes the image data within the adjusted field of view using the optical character or image recognition processing data. The processor determines output data based on the analyzed image data. A speaker of the wearable neck device provides audio information to the user based on the output data.
Rising demand in the markings of private and public parking spots is required to support the market development. Administrative bodies over the globe are ceaselessly planning rules to improve street security. While a settled administrative structure is as of now present in developed regions, for example, North America and Europe, developing economies are as yet progressing in the direction of upgrading the system to ensure street security and maintenance.
But don’t worry, because there’s an upside. Retailers are now gearing up for their next big selling season, which means right now clearance racks the world over are likely to be playing home to holiday lights and decor. That wouldn’t have been very interesting to the average hacker or maker a few years ago, after all, there’s only so much you can do with a string of twinkle lights. But today, holiday decorations are dripping with the sort of high-tech features you’d expect from gadgets that are actively aiming to be obsolete within the next ten months or so.
