Abstract: A device for extending the zone of protection of an umbrella. The device includes a curtain that can extend from a peripheral edge of an umbrella canopy. The curtain extends away from the canopy to envelope a user of the umbrella when the umbrella is in a deployed position. The curtain is selectively movable between a deployed position and a retracted position by a plurality of cords affixed to the curtain. In the retracted position, the curtain is compressed against the peripheral edge of the canopy. The plurality of cords passes through a cord lock, wherein the cord lock can prevent further movement of the curtain. The cord lock is operably connected to a switch disposed on a handle of the umbrella.
A backyard computerized GoTo telescope can automatically locate just about anything a beginner skywatcher might want to see. But how do you find out which objects are available when you are observing? And what do you do if that newly discovered comet or asteroid is not in your telescope's internal database? Perhaps you'd like to see a star known to host orbiting exoplanets, but your telescope can't find that star. One way to approach this problem is to link your telescope to an astronomy app and control it wirelessly with your phone.
The SIT meeting every month would decide the policy to minimise and avert road accidents. The SITs will be headed by respective deputy superintendents (Hqr) of the police districts, having assistant engineer R&B, motor vehicle inspectors and an official from traffic police as its members.
One piece of news that has surfaced after the initial GTX 1650 launch is that the new Turing TU117 GPU it uses does not contain the updated Turing NVENC block and instead uses the Volta version (which is basically the same as the Pascal version). What's NVENC used for? It handles encoding of video, for streaming, Nvidia ShadowPlay, and Nvidia Highlights. With Turing, Nvidia has touted the improved quality and performance of NVENC, saying it's now better quality than the x264 Fast setting many streamers use, while also being about 15 percent faster than Pascal and Volta's NVENC.

There are roadway conditions that limit or restrict the movement of farm machinery/equipment. These are generally referred to as traffic control devices and include official signs, signals, flaggers, or markings on or near a roadway. An example is a sign that prohibits farm machinery on a specified stretch of road. Those traffic devices may, at times, also change weight and dimension requirements on a road and they take precedence over the general weight and dimension exemptions. Finally, be aware that farm machinery is not allowed on a freeway unless otherwise directed by a police officer.
I have now discovered 3M Nuvo safety glasses (Fig. 4). They have reading glass lenses, like a bifocal. I can read and see details when I want to, and I donât need goofy goggles that go over my regular reading glasses. I bought three pairs and keep them in the garage, the house, the workshop, and my lab bench. I use them at night on my motorcycle.

This article is about connectors and standards. We’ll try not to whine and complain, although we will editorialize. We’re going to work through some of the design tradeoffs and requirements, and maybe you’ll even find that there’s already a standard pinout that’s “close enough” for your next project. And if you’ve got a frequently used pinout or use case that we’ve missed, we encourage you to share the connector pinouts in the comments, along with its pros and cons. Let’s see if we can’t make sense of this mess.
