The boy was traveling on the side of the road southbound near milepost 20 when he crossed the fog line onto the highway. A purple 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, also traveling southbound, then struck the boy on his bicycle. The driver, a 29-year-old woman from Mattawa, was not cited.
Abstract: A seat forming apparatus for use in a downhole tool comprising a driving member and dog elements that are disposed and movable within an outer housing of the downhole tool has been disclosed. The dog elements align in grooves recessed in the outer housing of the downhole tool in a first position and disengage from the grooves in a second position. The driving member travels in a reverse direction and enables the dog elements to move from the first position to the second position and form a seat in the downhole tool. The seat formed has an inner diameter smaller than the restriction element to allow the restriction element to be seated.
The meeting comes on the back of two fatal accidents on the Techiman-Kintampo and Winneba- Cape Coast highways last week which claimed more than 80 lives and injured several others.
Abstract: A controller including a voltage synthesizer for a switching regulator includes a synthesizer input to be coupled to an input of the regulator. First and second replica switching transistors are connected at a first node. A resistor couples between the first node and a second node, and a capacitor couples between the second node and ground. A transconductance stage compares a voltage sampled onto the capacitor to the output voltage of the regulator and generates an output signal in response to the comparison. A first switch couples between first and second inputs of the transconductance stage. The first switch is turned on during each cycle of operation of the voltage synthesizer to reset the capacitor voltage to the output voltage of the regulator.
Abstract: A processor architecture which partitions on-chip data caches to efficiently cache translation entries alongside data which reduces conflicts between virtual to physical address translation and data accesses. The architecture includes processor cores that include a first level translation lookaside buffer (TLB) and a second level TLB located either internally within each processor core or shared across the processor cores. Furthermore, the architecture includes a second level data cache (e.g., located either internally within each processor core or shared across the processor cores) partitioned to store both data and translation entries. Furthermore, the architecture includes a third level data cache connected to the processor cores, where the third level data cache is partitioned to store both data and translation entries. The third level data cache is shared across the processor cores. The processor architecture can also include a data stack distance profiler and a translation stack distance profiler.
“It was a process of gluing and putting it on some material that we felt could create the idea that we wanted,” Collins said.

May 10, 2018 - HEIDENHAIN introduced the ND 5023 digital readout (DRO) for use with manually operated machine tools. This DRO replaces HEIDENHAIN’s entry-level ND 522/523 models and consolidates it to one three-axis product. The DRO comes equipped with a TFT color display that enhances the readability of the information displayed over older models, plus features other design changes and enhanced functions. An installation guide has been implemented to assist in performing the basic configuration. When switching on the unit for the first time, the user can select this support feature and will then be guided through the required settings step-by-step. Many features are being introduced on the ND 5023 including a zoom feature designed to improve position value readability. Once activated, the display value for the axis currently being moved is magnified. For small numbers (i.e., numbers close to zero), the character height can be increased from 17 mm (standard height) to 25 mm. The operator immediately sees which axis is currently moving and can also read the numerical value from a greater distance. When the axis stops moving, the display returns to its standard size. The display is also configured for right-handed or left-handed operation. The ND 5023 DRO also has a powder-coated, die-cast aluminum housing and, just like its predecessor, uses a membrane keyboard. As before, encoders with a TTL interface (differential and single-ended) can be connected via a 9-pin D-sub connector. The data interface on the ND 5023 was changed to USB Type C which has the advantage of allowing the digital readout to assume the tasks of both master and slave. In addition, a universal mounting option has been implemented on this new DRO. It features a VESA-MIS 100 interface on the rear that allows the use of standardized holders for mounting. HEIDENHAIN solutions are available.
The Volta NVENC block isn't bad, and it can likely handle any workload a budget gamer is likely to throw at it. However, it's still a step backward and gives one more reason to look at higher spec GPUs like the GTX 1660 and above.
